The Basics.
I learned the basics of Figma in 2021, which involved learning different Layer Structures, Shapes, Tools and basic Prototyping. Another important aspect of design in general, is the application of Colour Theory and Typography.

Recreating Apple's World Clock page in Figma was invaluable in learning UI/UX design fundamentals. By meticulously studying Apple's design language and functionality, I honed my layout, typography, and iconography skills. Understanding the nuances of spacing, colour schemes, and interactive elements deepened my appreciation for user-centred design. This project allowed me to grasp the importance of consistency and accessibility in interface design, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices. it gave me practical insights into translating conceptual ideas into visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces, laying a solid foundation.

Creating a poster in Ikea's distinctive style was a crucial exercise in my UI/UX design journey. It taught me to deconstruct and replicate a renowned brand's aesthetic, focusing on minimalist design, clear messaging, and visual hierarchy.
Understanding and emulating various design styles prepares me to adapt to diverse client needs and audience preferences, enhancing my versatility and capability in creating effective, visually appealing interfaces.
Recreating Spotify.
The best way to learn more in-depth about design in general is to get
well acquainted with design flows. A very vital element in design, especially UI/UX Design is the three phases:
Low-Fi, Mid-Fi and Hi-fi
Recreating Spotify’s home page was a very time-consuming yet rewarding task as it allowed me to learn how to ensure every element was aligned perfectly with each other.
Every single element in the final version, such as the icons and text was custom made, by hand.
